Eastbank Lake Seminole CCC Federal Park

Has been a down day with warmer temps bringing out the country in me with my cowgirl hat.  Jim treated me to a Hardee's breakfast of sausage/egg biscuit with home potatoes and water as we like our campsite brewed coffee.

We re-arranged the cargo trailer again for a friendlier atmosphere.  This has also been a photo shoot day for me as I try to learn more about my new camera.  I'm thinking down the road I may be interested in a tri-pod for the camera as when I am focusing hard on  a subject I have a tendency to become shaky which blurrs the pic.

My other half split out some wood for a nice fire so I could roast some marshmallows.

Then I had a photo surprise. There sitting on the truck door was a beautiful Blue Bird looking at itself in the truck mirror.
We checked out the trail behind the bath house to find some raccoon tracks in the sandy wet-weather branch.
Our late afternoon drive did not produce any varmints.  Back at camp the geese and coots were swimming about as evening settled in.  Our campfire was a nice end to the day.  It currently is raining at 8p.m.  Scheduled to rain thru Thursday and maybe into Friday.  At least the temps are to be warmer.

Happy New Year to all!
