Tent camping update...

Back to tent camping for a while.  Our new ride will be pulling our cargo trailer with camping gear as we head for FL to winter with the snowbirds.

Today J worked on a fiberglass patch for the canoe where a small chunk was knocked out during our wreck.  He used to do this type of repair on his surf boards years ago. 

       

Have been checking out the folding porta-botes.  I like their stability and J likes the fact they can also sail.  I also like their flat bench seats as my bum will fit this nicely.  LOL 

  

Also have looked at the clear bottom kayaks. Not sure I could handle one of these due to the scenery below. Might would scare the heck out of me.  But, I do like the Caribe kayak....if I could handle.  Can be a one person or a two person kayak.

 
Until then...stay dry...stay warm...seems we've skipped fall and winter is upon us.  Time to change the clock.  See you by the campfire.
